Murray Avenue frontage

The proposed development opens up to the street corner to form a pedestrian plaza, forms a “live” edge along Murray Avenue, and offers visual cues of the centrally-located clubhouse. A covered bus stop & bulletin board suggest a renewed reliance upon eco-friendly public transit.

Mixed Density around new Public Park

Townhouses of varying sizes front onto Murray and Franklin streets, forming a definitive edge of the development. The public park is somewhat privatized by its height above street level at the rear, and by the clubhouse gathering space and bordering townhouses overlooking the park. As a part of the new community, single-family Craftsman-style homes provide a continuation of the surrounding neighborhood fabric and offer clubhouse memberships and front-porch views of the park.

At each entry point, a “flex” space is provided for professional services occupancy. If the market doesn’t prove favorable for businesses to move in, the structures are designed to accommodate additional living space.
